This is a great program; something for those just starting to explore energy and happiness. The ideas are broken down into very manageable portions. I find it very easy to digest.
Drs. Joy & Roy Martina go into the happiness formula which is H = S + C + V. This is really grounded and well described. Jump to about 7:20 to find out detail. Here’s a quick recap: Happiness equals:
- S – You biological set point. Your body, your genes, your family history affects your set point.
- C – Conditions of environment. Things around you, people around you all affect your reality. Take a deep look at what people you surround yourself with. What foods do you eat? Food can be a big part of it, does it cause inflammation? Can you feel the way the food affects your body?
- V – Voluntary and conscious actions you take. Can you introspect your decisions and priorities in life? Does each action you take fall in line with your priorities? If not, why are you doing them, is it to avoid pain or uncomfortableness? Sometimes we need to experience uncomfortable times in order to grow.
They also give easy practices for you every day. The best is “The Switch“. This is all about changing your brain when you are feeling down, judgmental or stuck in a rut. Open one palm, and make a fist or karate chop your other hand into your palm. Now switch with the other hand. Keep doing it, and go faster. Learn more about this around the 49 minute mark. Enjoy!
