This is a slightly different post. Judith Aston has worked over 30 years to teach body movements that support you. She speaks directly to sitting in a chair and working with a computer as so many of us are doing this year.
Stephen Dinan interviews Judith Aston, in this Q&A, about her 7 week class deep diving into body movements. Feel-Good Movements for a Revitalized & Resilient Body.
At 10:30 Judith compares sitting with your back against the chair and sitting to the edge of your seat.
At 12:00 she shows how to find neutral. Sit at the edge of your seat, roll your pelvis forward and back. Sitting straight up, let your chest fall down a little. Exhale. Inhale and exhale the dead air. Put your hands on your legs, move them up toward your pelvis. Push down on your feet, push down on your hands, stretch front of body long, look up. Breathe in then settle. Feel the front and back bodies at equal.
